2011 Strand Memorial service

On March 10th of every year the Brockton Fire Department and it's members remember the 13 brave firemen who died in the line of duty at the Strand Theatre Fire. This service is held in rotunda of City Hall. A memorial from the Scranton, PA Fire Dept has been the gathering place for the past 70 years. In May of 2008 a long awaited memorial to this brave men was erected outside of City Hall, sitting almost on the site of the Strand Theatre itself.
