Stoughton, MA 3rd Alarm Poskus St.

Box 2438 was struck after receiving several calls for a house fire. Stoughton Engines 2, 1 and Ladder 2 under Command of C5 Captain Newbury. Heavy fire was showing from the rear of a 2 story private dwelling. A 2nd alarm was quickly sounded with Canton Engine 3, Easton Engine 12 and Sharon Ladder 1 responded. Fire quickly spread throughout the house and into the attic. Several lines were stretched, and the roof was vented. Chief Carroll transmitted a 3rd alarm for relief with Avon Engine 1 and Randolph Tower 1 responded. Brockton Engine 4 and Ladder 1 covered the town.
