Fall River, MA 2nd Alarm Norfolk St

Box 1153 was transmitted for a fire at the Acores Bakery on Norfolk St. Engines 12, 2, 6, Platform 1, Ladder 2 and Rescue 1 were dispatched. Engine 12 reported smoke in the distance and a working fire on arrival. The fire was in a 3 1/2 story commercial with residences above. Car 2 arrived and requested and additional Engine with Engine 9 responding with orders to supply Ladder 4's aerial. Crews made an interior attack and knocked down the fire before it could extend to the upper floors. A special call for 2 engines with Engines 5 and 5 responding for relief.
