Brockton, MA 3rd Alarm Glenwood St.
Brockton FAO transmitted Box 1345 for a reported house fire @ 18:11 HR's. Squad A, Engine 5, Engine 4 and Ladder 1 were dispatched along with DC Galligan in Command. Car 56 arrived with fire showing from a 2 story dwelling and requested a working fire. Engine 7 as RIT and Ladder 4 were due. Searches were made and all occupants were out. Several lines were stretched to the interior. A 2nd Alarm was struck and Engine 2 responded. Crews continued an interior attack with fire spreading thru out. Chief Nardelli Car 55 arrived and transmitted a 3rd Alarm. Engine 3, Stoughton Engine 1 (covering Station 1) and Ladder 2 were dispatched. Heavy fire was on all floors and thru the roof as crews worked inside. The fire was brought under control in about 90 minutes. Weather conditions were very cold with a temperture of 10 degrees with wind chills around zero.
