Brockton, MA 2nd Alarm Perkins Ave

Box 5126 was transmitted for a reported dwelling fire with Engine 2, 4 Ladder 2 and Squad A due. Engine 2 arrived to heavy smoking from a 1 1/2 story occupied building. Car 56 assumed command and requested a working fire assignment. Engine 5 as RIT, Ladder 4 were dispatched. Heavy fire soon broke thru the roof and a 2nd alarm was struck. Engine 7 responded on the 2nd. Ladder 2 set up the tower and knocked down the heavy fire.
