Jersey City, NJ Signal Staion 749 - Bergen Ave & Grant Ave 4/23/2018

Jersey City FAO transmitted a Box for a reported building fire. Engine 8 arrived to heavy fire in the rear of a vacant building. Crews attempted an interior attack but were quickly pulled out as the build was found to be unsafe due to previous fires. A 2nd alarm was transmitted and members operated deck guns and handlines. The fire was knocked down in about an hour.
