Brockton, MA 2nd Alarm Montello St., 6/8/2016

Box 2131 was transmitted after the FAO received a call reporting a garage fire. Engine 2 reported heavy smoke showing as they left quarters about 6 blocks away. Heavy fire was showing from the garage and extending into the main house. Engine 2 and Squad A stretched 2 1/2'" attack lines and quickly knocked down the heavy fire. Crews entered the house and found fire in the rear walls. The fire in the house was also quickly knocked down and crews overhauled for a couple hours. Responding on the Box were Engines 2, 4 Ladder 2 and Squad A under command of Deputy Chief Baker. Engine 5 and Ladder 1 were assigned on the Working Fire and Engine 7 was added to fill out the balance of the 2nd alarm
