Brockton, MA 2nd ALarm 4/11/2014

Just after 9:30 am brockton FAO received several calls reporting a garage fire in the area of Warren Ave and Tribou st. Companies enroute had heavy smoke showing in the distance. Engines 2, 5, Ladder 2 and Squad A were assigned to Box 2217, Ladder 2 arrived and transmitted a Working Fire followed by a 2nd Alarm by Acting Deputy Cosgrove. Engines 4, 7 and Ladder 1 were disptched on the 2nd Alarm. two 2 1/2 inch lines and two 1 /34 inch lines were used to knock downn the fire quickly. A 20 x 20 garage, 5 x 5 shed and a 1 1/2 story house were on fire with extension to the rear of another 1 1/2 story house had the siding melted off.
