Quincy, MA 4th Alarm 9/30/2013

Shortly after noon on September 30th, Quincy Fire Transmitted Box 1434 for the Masonic Temple @ 1170 Hancock St. Crews arrived and were told by a construction company working in the building that they had a fire in the basement and knocked down the fire. As members entered the building and went to the 2nd floor they found heavy fire conditions. Firefighters attempted and interior attack only to be driven out as the fire extended into the roof area and cracks were discovered in the wall at the 2/3 corner. A 2nd alarm was struck and an exterior attack was under way. The 3rd and 4th alarms were struck bringing the rest of Quincy's apparatus as well as Boston Engine 16, Ladder 18 and a special call for Boston Tower Ladder 3.
