Milton, MA 3rd Alarm 10/9/2013

About 10 am on 10/9, Milton Firefighters were dispatched to Box 48 at Elliot St & Joy Rd for a reported house fire. Crews arrived to find a 2 1/2 wdfr occupied dwelling with heavy fire showing and reports of people still in the building. A 2nd alarm then 3rd alarm was quickly struck bring Boston, Canton and Quincy to the fire. Members made 1 rescue over a ladder and a 2nd one from a 2nd floor bedroom. The heavy fire was quickly knocked down on the exterior, but the fire had gained headway into the attic. Crews worked for about an hour to knock the fire down completely.
