Fall River, MA 2nd Alarm 3/7/2013

Just after midnight on 3/7 Fall River PD came upon a fire in the rear of a house on Plymouth Ave. Fall River FD transmitted Box 1351 sending Engines 4,2,3, Ladder 2 and Rescue 1 with Car 3 in command. Crews found a shed fire fully involved to the rear of the house and extending thru the house. Engine 5 was sent a RIT and Ladder 4 was added to the assignment followed shortly by a 2nd Alarm. Engines 7 & 9 went on the 2nd Alarm. While doing a seach of the house ff's became trapped on the upper floors and called a mayday. All members were pulled from the build as the trapped ff's bailed out a window and were transported to Rhose Island Hospital. A roll call was done and all members were accounted for. Command requested an additional Ladder bring Platform 1 to the fire. Crews worked for the next couple hours in a defensive mode to quell the blaze.
