Brockton, MA 2nd Alarm 8/22/2013
Just after 01:00 hr's Brockton FAO received calls reporting a house fire in the "Village" section of the city. Box 4125 was transmitted and Engines 7,3, Squad A, Tower 1 and car 56 under command of deputy Chief Kenney responded. Engine 7 had smoke showing in the distance and then reported heavy fire from a vacant 2 1/2 story wood frame house. Engine 7 and Squad A both ran 2 1/2' hand lines and quickly knocked down the heavy fire. A 2nd alarm was transmitted with Engines 4, 5 as RIT and Ladder 1 to the scene. Tower 1 used their gun to knock down the fire on the 2nd floor and attic. This house also burned in June of 2013.
