About 13:00 Providence Fire Alarm dispatched Engines 14,8,3, Ladders 6 & 2, Special Hazards 1, Rescue 4 and Batt 2 to Still Box 4142 for a house fire on Desoto St. Engine 14 arrived and reported an attic and Batt. 2 special called Engine 7, Ladder 4 and Air Supply 1. The fire extended from fl 2 into the attic and an additional 1 & 1 were called to the scene. Engine 11 and Ladder 1 responded and were returned as the fire was quickly knocked down.
