Brockton, MA ACW Explosion 7/31/2012

A Master Box was received in the FAO for the VA Hospital on the westside of the city. Engines 5,2 Ladder 2 and car 56 were assigned. Car 56 arrived and was informed of an explosion on the 5th floor. Renovation have been ongoing for several months in the area. An additional Ladder was special called bringing Ladder 1 and the TSU to the scene. Crews reported the a gas explosion occured and they had 1 injury. FF continued the operation and secured the gas line and tied into the standpipe.
